The Uniparty's Master Plan: Polarize and Conquer
The Powers-That-Be know that if we are constantly fighting over these issues, we will never come together to challenge their agenda.
In a tweet, I recently noted, "The more I speak with everyday people of different political backgrounds, the more I believe that Americans are more alike than you're led to believe." This observation is both enlightening and frustrating. It reveals a deep truth about our nation: the American people, regardless of political affiliation, share common values and concerns that are often overshadowed by divisive tactics employed by the political elites.
Democrats and Republicans have mastered the art of focusing on wedge issues—abortion, gun control, and immigration—topics designed to polarize and divide us. Even within those topics, there’s consensus among the American people. However, the extremes are strategically emphasized to keep us at each other's throats. The Powers-That-Be know that if we are constantly fighting over these issues, we will never come together to challenge their agenda.
Take abortion, for example. This is a deeply personal and moral issue that will likely never see a universal consensus. Yet, the all-or-nothing approach dominates political discourse, creating a chasm between pro-life and pro-choice advocates. This deliberate focus ensures that we remain divided, unable to address broader, more unifying consensus that we could easily pass banning late-term abortion and, I would argue, even abortions after the first trimester (with exceptions for rape and incest). Obviously, I’m pro-life from conception… but if we refuse to pass what we can find consensus about, we’ll gain no ground. This isn’t about what wins elections… it’s about what can save lives.
The media and political elites also fuel the fire with personality wars. Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are prime examples. Their personas and rhetoric are designed to incite strong reactions. Trump supporters see him as a champion against the establishment, while his detractors view him as a threat to democracy. Similarly, Harris is either hailed as a groundbreaking leader or criticized as a symbol of ineffective governance.
