In our deep dive, we scrutinize the intricate details of the Texas Attorney General's arguments, comparing them with existing documentation and laws. Karen brilliantly dissects the layers of legal intricacies, providing listeners with a comprehensive understanding of the case's potential implications.
As highlighted in Karen Kingston's Substack dated December 2, 2023, AG Ken Paxton's pursuit of justice is rooted in the Texas Business & Commerce Code, specifically §17.46 Deceptive Trade Practices Act and §17.47. Paxton's bold move against Pfizer is motivated by a desire to seek justice for the people of Texas, many of whom succumbed to coercive vaccine mandates.
In Paxton's own words, "We are pursuing justice for the people of Texas, many of whom were coerced by tyrannical vaccine mandates to take a defective product sold by lies." He accuses Pfizer of deception, asserting that the pharmaceutical giant concealed vital information about the actual effectiveness of its COVID-19 mRNA injections.
The lawsuit, comprising 18 violations across 5 counts of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) §17.46, targets Pfizer for allegedly misleading approximately 3.5 million Texans. The allegations include false claims made by Pfizer's CEO, Albert Bourla, and attempts to suppress data revealing the ineffectiveness of mRNA injections, allegedly involving former FDA commissioner and current Pfizer Board Member, Scott Gottlieb.
