How Should We Respond to the Sham Conviction of Donald Trump?
This trial against Donald Trump has been a sham from the very start.
In recent days, I have received numerous inquiries about my thoughts on the conviction of Donald Trump, especially given my endorsement of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for President. Here are my thoughts:
This trial against Donald Trump has been a sham from the very start. That is an objective truth, not merely an opinion. The same holds true for the January 6th trials. What we are witnessing is the weaponization of our government against its own citizens. Anyone who stands in the way of the Deep State’s mission to destroy the Greatest Nation on the face of the earth is taken out by whatever means necessary. This cannot and must not be tolerated. The deeply entrenched corruption in our system has made it seem almost impossible to dismantle (just look at what the Deep State did to JFK and RFK when they got in their way), but this is precisely why we must "Drain the Swamp."
I have long advocated for a Constitutional Amendment that would empower the legislative branch to overrule the judicial branch with a Super Majority vote. Our nation was founded on a system of checks and balances, but our current justice system lacks this crucial principle. The justice system can check both the legislative and executive branches, but there’s very little either can do to hold the judicial branch accountable. This imbalance has given rise to what can only be described as kangaroo courts.
Based on the evidence I have seen, Donald Trump should not have been prosecuted, let alone convicted. At most, he should have received a minor penalty, such as a fine, for marking the expense in the wrong category. Convicting him of dozens of felonies is an overreach that undermines the very foundation of our justice system.

To be clear, he slept with a porn star (Stormy Daniels), and then bought the exclusive rights to the story. Those with Trump Derangement Syndrome can call it “hush money” all they want, but technically speaking… what Trump did is no different than if a movie studio or publishing company purchased the exclusive rights to someone’s story. Sometimes those stories get released, sometimes they don’t. That decision is up to whomever holds the rights to the story.
When Trump ran in 2016, he promised us that he would Drain the Swamp and break apart the corruption found in Washington DC. Unfortunately, he didn’t follow through with that campaign promise. Even while he was President, his Justice Department and Intelligence Agencies were working to undermine him at every step. And now we are watching those same agencies and departments be weaponized against him and anyone else who gets in their way. This sham conviction is the direct result of not Draining the Swamp the first time around. May we learn our lesson.
In response to the conviction, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. aptly stated, "The Democratic Party's strategy is to beat President Trump in the courtroom rather than the ballot box. This will backfire in November. Even worse, it is profoundly undemocratic. America deserves a President who can win at the ballot box without compromising our government’s separation of powers or weaponizing the courts. You can’t save democracy by destroying it first.
“The Democrats are afraid they will lose in the voting booth, so instead they go after President Trump in the courtroom. I’m also running against President Trump in this election. The difference is I’m challenging him on his record. His lockdowns during Covid. His atrocious environmental record. His cozy relationship with corporate America. His support for the war machine. His failure to root out waste and corruption in Washington. His service to the billionaire class. His bloating of the national debt. These are the issues that shape American lives. I'll challenge him on these things, but the Democrats won't. You know why? Because they pursue the very same policies."

The Powers-That-Be want us polarized and divided, at each other’s throats, fighting amongst ourselves. That’s the whole point of this sham “conviction” of Donald Trump. Unfortunately, we are giving them exactly what they want. If you look at the response from Team Trump, it’s a very emotionally charged response… which is good. The key, however, is to not turn on our fellow Americans, but unite against these Deep State operatives and the Powers-That-Be to ensure that this never happens again.
Nicole Shanahan, RFK Jr.'s running mate, highlighted this issue, stating, "Our country is deeply divided. Under the last two administrations, Americans have witnessed the weaponization of the justice system for political gain. The result: anger and division in America. Weaponizing the press, the judiciary, and each other puts us all in the barrel. No matter your political allegiance, the judicial system is supposed to protect all of us equally. It is not to be weaponized for political purposes. When it is, that is the surest sign of tyrannical influence."
I’m suggesting that Republican states to stand up against this tyranny and provide asylum for Trump, refusing any and all attempts at extradition. Refuse to allow New York to imprison Trump on these sham charges. Enough is enough. We, as Americans, must unite against any and all forms of tyranny. We cannot allow this injustice to stand unchecked in the United States of America.
Amaryllis Fox, RFK Jr.'s campaign manager, asked poignantly, "What if we had a president who trusted the American people to choose their next leader? What if we had a president who could campaign on his record instead of weaponizing the courts to keep opponents off ballots or toss them in jail? What if we had a president who cared more about seeing our democratic system endure than he did about victory? The irony is then, he might actually win. At least our country sure would."

Now, I’ve already been asked why I’m continuing to support RFK Jr instead of switching back to Trump, in light of this conviction. It’s simple, really: I believe that Robert F Kennedy Jr is more suited to dismantle the Department of Justice (of which his father was the head of as Attorney General) and the out-of-control Intelligent Agencies than Trump is. Trump knows that there’s a problem there, but I haven’t seen evidence that he understands how to actually fix it, and I don’t trust the people that he’s surrounded himself with.
Had the Trump Administration reformed the Department of Justice during his first term in the White House, I do not believe we’d be where we are today. That’s not me putting blame onto Trump, because all blame falls on the shoulders of the sinister forces behind this show trial. However, it is still a fact that this could have been avoided had we Drained the Swamp when we had the chance.
In closing, I’ll add one more wrinkle to this…
Most people that I’m talking to within the Kennedy camp see right through this. They understand that the government is being weaponized against Trump. They see it for what it is. This can be a unifying factor for both campaigns to come together to take on the Deep State once-and-for-all. Again, let’s not turn on one another and, instead, focus on who the true enemy is: the Banana Republic Uniparty Swamp Creatures that are turning the government into a weapon to be used against political enemies.
Whether you are Team Kennedy or Team Trump, now is the time to get involved with your respective campaigns. If you’d like to donate to President Trump in response to the conviction, you can do so here. If you’d like to donate to RFK Jr’s campaign, you can do so here. Either way, we’ve got to take on the Deep State and Drain the Swamp. LET’S GO!
