One of the things that almost took me out as a kid, was at about 7, I split my leg open just above my left kneecap on the corner of a brick porch. [~1965]
I was running for base and slipped on the pine straw, my knee aimed right at the sharp edge, hit full force.
I bled out pretty bad, the hospital mentioned a transfusion, my parents declined as they/we were Jehovah's Witnesses, who forbid blood transfusions. As you can see, Almighty God assured my survival.
Relevant point being, if my body dies from lack of blood to avoid SynBioTech, no biggie, in fact, it'd be great! To be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord. That's the best deal ever. But yeah, not a fan of voluntarily being injected with contaminated blood in this situation and in general.
